What The Heck is Magnesium Oil?

Updated: Aug 2, 2019

Magnesium oil is a bit of a misnomer.

It is not an oil at all…

Our magnesium oil contains just three ingredients: purified water, Dead Sea magnesium chloride and naturally occurring trace minerals.

That means that magnesium oil is a water based solution with a very high salinity (it’s really really salty).

Our magnesium oil is so concentrated with magnesium chloride that the product feels a bit oily, which is why the mixture is most commonly referred to as an “oil.” This high concentration of magnesium chloride is what packs each spray of our magnesium oil with a whopping 18 mg of elemental magnesium.

Applying magnesium oil topically leverages the absorption ability of your body’s largest organ - the skin. Some studies show that topical magnesium is more effective at increasing overall magnesium levels than attempting to do so by taking oral supplements or by eating magnesium rich foods.

We package our product in a spray bottle so that you can easily apply magnesium to the areas that need the most support. Sore legs after a workout? Spray and rub into your legs. Carpal tunnel in your wrists? Point and shoot accordingly.

Magnesium is crucial to over 300 biochemical reactions that occur in your body each day.

If you’re interested in general magnesium supplementation you can apply our oil to your torso, legs or feet. Or, if you have the time, you can add a couple of ounces to a warm bath or foot soak (we recommend soaking for about 20 minutes and finishing by rinsing with warm water). By ensuring that your body has adequate access to magnesium, you are helping support your overall health.

Topical magnesium is effective, but our magnesium oil takes the rejuvenating benefits to the next level by harnessing the therapeutic qualities of the Dead Sea. With each spray of Magnum Solace magnesium oil you’ll reap the same benefits that have drawn people to the Dead Sea for thousands of years, without having to hop on a plane!
